When I went to open up the app to refill my prescription I was unsure of whether or not I was still signed in to my account or if the app simply housed my past prescriptions.

Allowing users to see that they have an account through name personalization and member status can help reinforce that they are not a one-time user leading to increased brand trust and loyalty. 

Using the app for the second time, I wanted to be sure that my delivery location was saved within the app. Navigating to find that information required me to take 3 extra steps.

Putting the delivery information upfront allows users to quickly see where their medication will be sent and make changes if necessary. This can help prevent errors and provide more clarity.

When I realized I needed to refill my prescription, I knew I needed to contact my doctor, however, like many people I do not carry that information on hand. Since Capsule works directly with my doctor I assumed there would be contact information within the app that I could easily access.
 

Housing the user's prescriber information in-app enhances the overall experience from contacting your doctor to receiving our medication.

Although the name of the medication is important, I made the design decision to change the visual hierarchy to draw additional attention to the medication instructions.

Considering the end-user's needs and their knowledge of medication names, I chose to provide medication instructions as a way to provide further information. This allows for a more informed understanding of what the medication is and how it should be used.
